Wall Climb

You will stand and perform ten repetitions of this exercise for each hour you are sitting .  This exercise not only decreases the pressure placed on the intervertebral discs of the low back, but also allows them to receive needed nutrition.  It also relieves pressure from the muscles of the mid back, and of the cervical spine (neck) as well.  It is an excellent exercise for those who experience mid-back pain or low back pain after sitting for extended periods.

Begin by standing with you arms up over your head.  Then  slowly breath in and reach toward the sky with your right arm, and return to this position as you exhale.  Then repeat with your left arm
