Dr. Settergren is a certified Active Release Technique provider.  He also specializes in diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound.  During his undergraduate schooling Dr. Settergren competed as an NCAA Division 1 pole-vaulter, and went on to compete in national competitions. Upon finishing his polevault career Dr. Settergren went on to obtain a master’s degree in exercise physiology and biomechanics . 

 

Dr. Settergren is currently a physician with the University of Illinois Chicago athletic program , and works in a cardiac diagnostics lab at a level two trauma center in the west suburbs.
